I found out that Google was refusing to display my old site unless people were actively logged into a Google account.  That's six or eight shades of stupid, so I decided to ditch them as a host altogether and migrate my entire shebang to a new service, which brings us to:

The new site is up and running as designed, save image hosting and one little glitch in the mobile version.

Oh yeah, I got a mobile version now.  Heh.

In case yer wonderin' what in the hell you've stumbled into in this weird corner of the Internet:  this is my personal website where I amuse myself by posting a buncha content related to my endeavors in theHunter Classic, a realistic hunting simulator available both via direct download and the Steam platform.

Don't mind the negative reviews, it's just a buncha kids gettin' pissy about the game's payment model.  Game's free to download and play, but (like many modern games) most of the content has to be unlocked with paid transactions.  The "free" thing is them being nice enough to let you try it out before you decide whether or not you actually wanna spend any money on it, which, personally, I think is mighty nice of 'em, but people just don't seem to be happy without something to scream about, seems like.  Alas, I digress.

The Personal Bests page shows my highest scoring animals of each species, along with a percentile score that shows an at-a-glance comparison between my best and either the theoretical maximum from the wiki, or from other high-scoring animals from the rest of the theHunter community if wiki information was unavailable.  The score will link you to the official scoresheet (with the exception of the Bison, the database was having issues right around that time), and clicking the thumbnail will take you to a larger picture (that you can comment on, assuming you have a Google account, because, you know, hail technological overlords and all that).

The Rare Gallery shows those few rare animals that I've managed to find in spite of my terrible luck over the years.  Albinos, piebalds, non-typicals (if I had any, which I don't), etc. can be found there, along with images and scoresheets as before.

The Variant Gallery shows the animals that I've found over the years with variant fur / skin coloration.  They're not as "special" as the "true rares," but I really like the variety in animal appearance, and I'm usually thrilled enough to find one that I go about posting it on here.  Heh.  If yer interested in that sort of thing, that's where you'll find the variants and their images / scoresheets.

The Extras page shows content that doesn't fit into the "normal animal hunting" schema of the other pages.  There you'll find a link to my Screenshot gallery, a showcase of the beautiful landscapes you can explore within the game, as well as the Mythical Creatures page, which is a stylized showcase of some of the just-for-fun, break-from-reality content that we get to participate in on special occasions—Halloween, for example.

Before you go diving too far into it, I'll toss a warning at you just as a courtesy:  the images show obviously fake but nonetheless graphic representations of dead animals, blood, etc.  If that sort of thing bothers you, do me and the rest of the Internet a favor and run right on along to something else before you get yourself worked up in spite of my warnin' here and feel socially obligated to sling flak in my direction over some screen grabs of a video game posted on the net.

Happy perusin'.
